Police believe the suspect may have created numerous fake profiles and could be harassing others on dating websites.

WILTON, CT — On Thursday, police apprehended a Wethersfield man for whom Norwalk Superior Court issued an arrest warrant, following an investigation begun in January.
While investigating harassment complaints, through spoofed and anonymous phone numbers, police were able to identify Scott Cremins, 42, of Center Street, as a suspect.
"The accused continued this activity for several months and began to harass other victims that were related to the original female victim," according to the police report. Detectives were able to serve search warrants on several of the telephone companies that enabled them to identify the accused as a responsible person.
