It’s really a fun name and sums me up perfectly. I AM the clutterphobe. But really, so are you, because honestly, who likes clutter?

I live in Wilton, so my company is based here. However, since I travel to client’s homes and offices to work with them, I service all of Fairfield County.

What business are you in?

I’m a professional organizer. I work with clients to make their homes, offices and lives organized in a way that makes sense to them, ensuring that things will stay organized in the long term.

What’s the most difficult challenge you’ve faced as a business owner?

Getting my company name out there. The advertising market is really changing with more advertising being done online as opposed to print ads and bulk mailings. Social media is a critical component today and although I understand that, I’ve been a little neglectful about getting around to it.

What’s been your proudest achievement since opening?

I worked with a recently widowed senior who had never before managed the household paper - the bills, investments, legal paperwork, etc. She had been stuffing her paperwork in different places around the home for several months when we started working together. We created a system that would be easy for her to use and put a maintenance plan in place. Afterwards, she called me up and with excitement in her voice said, “You’ll be so proud. I’ve been filing my paperwork!” That was a great moment!

How does your business give back to the community?

On a personal level, I volunteer with the local schools, the PTA and FARE. On a professional level, I offer discounts to Seniors and currently I’m working on a lecture series on organizing that I hope to present at the local library.
