Wilton Summer Concert Series Returns! Here's Who's Playing

Wilton Parks and Recreation Department has announced the bands for its 2021 Wilton Summer Concert Series.

WILTON, CT —The Wilton Parks and Recreation Department has announced its band line up for the 2021 Wilton Summer Concert Series.

This year's series will feature local acts Captain Obvious (July 11), The Defibrillators (July 25), and The Treeshakers (Aug. 1), playing music from a variety of genres.

A fourth concert date on July 18 is in the works and will be announced shortly, according to the Parks & Rec news release.

Concerts will be held on Sunday evenings from 5-7 p.m. with the first two concerts being held at Schenck’s Island and the final two at Merwin Meadows. The concerts will be free and concert goers are encouraged to set up a blanket or chair, grab some takeout from Wilton's nearby restaurants, and sit back and enjoy the music.
