Wilton Woman Arrested for Writing Bad Checks
She allegedly wrote two bad checks at the Village Market.

Diedre Romano, 46, of Portland Avenue was charged with two counts of issuing a bad check following an investigation conducted by Wilton Police. She was arrested on March 14.
Police said Romero wrote two bad checks totaling about $180 at the Village Market.
She was held on $500 bond and given a March 25 court date.Â

A husband and wife were each charged with disorderly conduct following a domestic incident at an apartment the wife was staying at on March 15.

According to police, officer received a noise complaint at Avalon Springs. The caller said there was an argument taking place. Upon investigation, it was determined the husband, 47, and wife, 51, got into a physical altercation. The husband lives at a residence on Silver Spring Road, police said.
They were released on promises to appear in court March 15.
