Wilton, CT – This summer, Riverbrook Regional YMCA is excited to be taking part in Race4Chase Youth Triathlon program.
Race 4 Chase is named for Chase Kowalski, an amazing little boy from Newtown, who loved to run, swim and bike. Race 4 Chase strives to empower kids to reach their full potential and to promote healthy, fun, community activities for local youth.

Registration is for children ages 6-12 years old wishing to participate in the Race 4 Chase Triathlon Program. This program provides youth with a fun, skill building, life-changing experience by introducing them to the sport of triathlon.
This free program runs for 6 weeks beginning Monday, June 27, 2016 and ending Saturday, August 6, 2016. Program times are 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. daily, Monday - Friday. Training will take place at Silvermine Elementary School (the same location that Norwalk YMCA Camp Sunrise takes place). Daily field trips will take palce to the Witlon Family YMCA branch and other locations for training. An extended care option at Norwalk YMCA Camp Sunrise is available to parents who need full day coverage for childcare.
Race day is the culmination of the program for the eight YMCA Race 4 Chase programs at YMCA Camp Sloper in Southington (1000 East Street, Southington CT) on Saturday, August 6, 2016. All participants will compete in a Youth Triathlon on this day.
Registration is for children ages 6-12. Applications can be picked up at the Wilton Family YMCA branch or found online here. There is still time to register but the deadline of April 29, 2016 is fast approaching!
