Wilton's 4th Of July Fireworks: 2019 Guide, Scheduled Time

WILTON, CT – July 4th is quickly approaching, which means it's time to fire up that barbecue and find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you this Independence Day. We gathered up all the fireworks shows, parades and festivals happening in and around Wilton so you can start planning now.

Unlike many neighboring communities, Wilton will be holding all of its fireworks and Independence Day activities actually on July 4th:

July 4th Festivities

8:30 a.m.: Freedom Run 5K Road Race, Wilton High School Track

12 noon: Democrats vs. Republicans Softball Game, Wilton High School Varsity Softball Field

5:00 p.m.: Live DJ, Food Trucks, Fun at Wilton High School Complex

9:30 p.m.: Fireworks at Wilton High School Complex

The Parks and Recreation Department will be selling 4th of July Patron Parking Passes through July 3rd. Parking passes may be obtained by visiting the Parks and Recreation Office at 180 School Road, Wilton. Office hours are Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m .- 4:30 p.m. Passes may also be obtained from the Parks and Recreation Spring/Summer Brochure. Passes will be mailed to you. Parking passes for remote parking locations will also be available the evening of the event at $20.00 per vehicle. All proceeds offset cost of the evening's events.

In the event of rain, please call the Parks and Recreation hotline at (203) 454-5188 for event status. Rain date for the event is July 5th.
