Woman Throws Hot Tea On Victim: Wilton Police
Police investigated an assault on a woman that involved yelling and hot tea.
WILTON, CT — A New York woman was arrested in Wilton last week after police said she threw hot tea at a woman in the Danbury Road Dunkin Donuts. Police responded to the eatery and found that Dalia Ayala, 47, of Bronx, NY, had thrown the tea at another woman, causing her to become wet.
The assault came after a verbal altercation between Ayala and another woman, police said. Ayala did not contest the incident.
She was arrested on charges of breach of peace and assault in the third degree. She was released on a promise to appear and is due in court Wednesday.
