$15 Acupuncture for Seniors in July
Seniors 65 and older will receive acupuncture for only $15 per treatment throughout July. New and returning patients welcome!

Many Rivers Community Acupuncture is offering a Senior Special this July: Seniors age 65 and above will receive acupuncture for only $15 per treatment.
New and returning patients are welcome to participate in this special. Seniors can call (860) 683-0011 to schedule their $15 appointments, or use Many Rivers’ convenient online schedule at manyriversacupuncture.com.
“We are offering our Senior Special in July this year,” said Many Rivers acupuncturist Heather Finn, L.Ac., “to help seniors stay active and healthy during the wonderful summer weather. This past winter was so dreary. Now that the weather is better, people are returning to their favorite outdoor pastimes. But golfing, gardening, and exercising can cause unwanted aches and pains. Acupuncture can reduce the discomfort so that seniors can have fun all summer long.”

Acupuncture helps pain by reducing inflammation, promoting circulation, and by changing the way the brain perceives pain. It can help improve mobility in joints that have become tight and painful from both osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.
“We treat everything from golfer’s elbow and runner’s knee to frozen shoulder and plantar fasciitis,” said Many Rivers acupuncturist Mary Cole, L.Ac. “We love hearing our patients tell us that they were able to play a full round of 18 holes of golf after an acupuncture treatment, or that they finally felt better enough to weed their garden.”

Many Rivers' highly-trained acupuncturists treat many other conditions often experienced in the senior population, such as diabetic neuropathy, poor circulation in the hands and feet, insomnia, anxiety, and constipation.
