Barbecue Eatery In Windsor Center Shuts Down

The restaurant had operated since 2010, and at its current location since late 2013.

WINDSOR, CT — A barbecue eatery in the Windsor Center Plaza has gone out of business, according to signs posted in the restaurant's door and front window.

A sign in the window of Nat's Real Pit BBQ, located at 144B Broad Street, reads, "Nat's is out of business. Thank you for your support over the years!" Similar wording is posted on a sign on the door.

Known as Nat Hayden's Barbecue when it opened in 2010, the eatery known for its pulled pork, ribs and other Southern-inspired fare moved to the plaza on Dec. 29, 2013. In 2016, it was sold to Chris Rakytra, and re-named Nat's Real Pit BBQ the following fall.
