WINDSOR, CT — An Indianapolis-based developer is seeking to build a massive distribution center in on a former tobacco farm in Windsor, Hartford Business Journal reported. Scannell Properties is currently constructing a $50-million distribution center in South Windsor for Home Depot.

Scannell is seeking a special use permit and site plan approval for a 819,800-square-foot facility that would cost $250 million to build. The packaging and distribution center would be located at 1201 Kennedy Road and 1 Joseph Lane, according to Hartford Business Journal.
