Frank Sinatra and Marilyn Monroe Tribute Show Benefits Wounded Warriors

Sinatra and Monroe celebrity impersonator/tribute artists to appear in Windsor

While the opportunity to see Frank Sinatra in concert has passed, Hartford area residents can still enjoy a live concert experience with “Ol’ Blue Eyes”. Lambert Entertainment, an entertainment company based in Windsor, CT, is presenting world renowned Frank Sinatra tribute artist Patrick Tobin in concert on November 7th at the Hilton Garden Inn, 555 Corporate Drive in Windsor, CT.

Tobin, who started his career as a Sinatra impersonator in 1996 explained, “When I would sing I was told that I sounded a lot like Sinatra”.

Tobin has performed as “The Chairman of the Board” all over the U.S. and internationally in Ireland, France, Austria and South Africa. He was a guest vocalist for the Springfield Symphony Holiday Pops concert, performed for an Indian Affairs event at Foxwoods hosted by Sen. John McCain, and for a press Christmas party at the Governor’s mansion in Hartford.

When asked what audiences can expect from his performance Tobin said, “Most people are impressed with the vocals, which is always nice to hear, but they don’t expect the comedy. People will always share stories with me after a show about when they saw or met Sinatra. When I hear that I’ve taken someone back 50 years I know I’ve done my job well.”

Marilyn Monroe tribute artist Elaine Chez will be the opening act for the show. Chez was one of the first celebrity impersonators when the trend started in the 1980’s. While training to be a Radio City Rockette she began performing as Monroe, appearing as the blond bombshell for the first time at Studio 54 in New York City.

Ten percent of the proceeds will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project. Joni Lambert of Lambert Entertainment explains, “We need to give back to those who have given so much for this wonderful country.”

Tobin agreed, saying, “I’ve been involved with events to raise money for WWP over the last 10 years. I’m looking forward to continuing that”.

The Sinatra Tribute show will be at the Hilton Garden Inn at 555 Corporate Drive in Windsor, CT on November 7th at 7pm. Tickets are $24.00. To purchase tickets call (860)794-7534 or visit www.LambertEntertainment.us.
