Homewatch CareGivers of Windsor Wins Prestigious Awards
Nation's Leading Home Care Franchise Company Presents Local Entrepreneur with Distinctive Honor

WINDSOR, Conn. – Lori Mgrdichian, owner of Homewatch CareGivers of Windsor, Conn. and West Springfield, Mass., won the “Founder’s Award” and “Marketing MVP” award at the company’s recent annual conference and awards ceremony in Englewood, Colorado at the luxury Hilton Denver Inverness conference center.
Homewatch CareGivers is recognized as the nation’s quality leader in home care services that preserve dignity, independence and safety for clients under the supervision and care of highly trained caregivers. Its annual conference brings together home office leadership and franchise office owners from across the nation for four days of training, information sharing, and recognition of excellence.
“We look to identify franchise owners in our system who operate their business at a high level, but also work to give back to the system, and Lori is that person,” said Julie Smith, CEO of Homewatch CareGivers. “Lori embodies the values of Homewatch CareGivers through her strategic sales vision, quality operations and care protocol. She is a strong, caring leader who works hard to develop the staff who works for her. She bought another existing Homewatch CareGivers business recently and has led the charge to integrate both operations to gain efficiency in her business processes all with a smile.”

Themed “The Value of Outcomes,” the convention celebrated several key accomplishments and inspired all attendees – franchise owners, local market team members, and corporate leadership – to continue to aim high, think big, and rise to the occasion day-in and day-out. The four days included extensive sales and marketing training, educational seminars, and opportunities to share best practices.
The Homewatch CareGivers headquarters team completed comprehensive assessments prior to deciding which office would win the prestigious “Founder’s Award” and “Marketing MVP” awards. This news comes on the heels of the acquisition of the West Springfield, Mass. location earlier this year.

Mgrdichian achieved the Founder’s Award because she embodies the values of Homewatch Caregivers through her strategic sales vision, quality operations and care protocol. She and her marketing team also received the Marketing MVP Award because she sets the marketing standard for the entire franchise network with her focus on creating a marketing strategy, measuring successes, and converting clients successfully as a result.
“Being recognized is a true honor,” said Mgrdichian “I have really enjoyed getting to work with everyone in the system, especially the other owners in my region. This type of collaboration has allowed all of us to reach new heights and grow our own respective businesses.”
The conference also featured a series of presentations and panel discussions about the highly anticipated release of Homewatch CareGivers Care+, the advanced and proprietary client and caregiver web-based management system. Mgrdichian and fellow franchise owners have already begun adopting the platform, which creates a competitive advantage locally as a “high touch meets high tech” innovation. The efficiencies achieved were emphasized throughout the conference.
