Hopewell's 2018 Black History Guest of Honor Author Sade Ferrier
Hopewell Baptist Church's Youth Department Presents Renowned Christian Author Sade Ferrier

Windsor - On Saturday, February 24th, in celebration of Black History Month, Hopewell Baptist Church's Youth Department will present renowned Christian literary author, Sade Ferrier in a two-part teen summit. Ferrier is the author of the book entitled, "Relief." The public is invited to attend.
At the first event, a "Question and Answer Luncheon with Author Sade Ferrier" is scheduled for noon, on Saturday, February 24th.
Then later that evening on Saturday at 5 pm, Ferrier, will be the guest speaker for Hopewell's Black History Month program. A young adult herself, Ferrier, will read segments of her book, "Relief." She will also provide a narrative on what propelled her to write another novel.

At the age of 16, Ferrier, wrote her first book, Shaken. To date, all of her books are considered universally relevant for teenagers everywhere. Immediately following the evening program, Ferrier will also hold a book signing, and then dinner will be served.
One of the goals of Hopewell's Youth Department is to galvanize teens and young adults in the Hartford county area to celebrate the importance of Christian fellowship
