Local Roads to be Impacted by Achilles Hope and Possibility races
The Hartford Marathon Foundation will produce the Achilles Hope and Possibility 5K and 10K on Sunday, July 22

The Hartford Marathon Foundation will produce the Achilles Hope and Possibility 5K and 10K on Sunday, July 22, in the towns of Bloomfield and Windsor. With approximately 300 participants expected, please be aware of traffic impact and limited road closures affecting the area from 7:45 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.
The following roads will remain open for use by vehicles and race participants from 7:45 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Please expect minor delays and use caution:
- Woodland Avenue
- Peters Road
- Highland Park Road
- Griffin Road
- Day Hill Road
- Blue Hills Avenue
The Hartford Marathon Foundation makes every effort to minimize the impact of the race on local roads and neighborhoods while bringing runners in to enjoy the community. Please seek alternate routes during the race if impacted. A detailed course map is also available HERE.
