Major Windsor Employer To Close In September

WINDSOR, CT — Arrow Value Recovery, an information technology asset disposal facility, will shut down its Windsor location in September, eliminating 143 jobs, The Hartford Courant reported. Colorado-based Arrow Electronics, which has a local facility at 100 Helmsford Way, notified the Department of Labor about the action July 16.

The company dismantles electronics equipment to use metals for refurbishing units. Arrow Electronics employs about 20,000 at 460 locations across the globe and had $29.7 billion in sales last year.
