Obituary: Conrad Fauteux, 80, Of Windsor

WINDSOR, CT - Conrad Fauteux, 80, of Windsor, beloved husband of Francoise (Gosselin) Fauteux, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Hartford Hospital.
Born in Quebec, Canada to the late Lucien and Liliane (Inkel) Fauteux, he has been a Windsor resident for over 48 years and was a member of St. Joseph Church in Poquonock. Conrad was a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus and owned and operated CF Foundations in Windsor for many years. He was a hardworking man who loved his family and will be dearly missed.

Besides his wife Francoise of Windsor, he is survived by his son Daniel Fauteux and his wife Brigitte of Granby; his daughters, Marlene Tovar and her husband Fernando of Florida, Claire Dusik and her husband John of South Windsor, Murielle Mazun of Windsor and Shirley Fauteux of Windsor Locks; fifteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; his brother Gerard Fauteux and his wife Louisette of Enfield; his sister-in-law Suzanne Fauteux of Lebanon, along with five other brothers and six sisters in Canada; and close in-laws, Paul Gosselin, Madeline Paré and Marcel Joly. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his son Martin Fauteux and his brother Francois Fauteux.
His family will receive friends on Saturday, December 1 from 11 AM to 12:30 PM at the Carmon Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave Windsor. A memorial mass will be held at 1 PM Saturday, December 1 at St. Joseph Church, 1747 Poquonock Ave Windsor, followed by burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windsor.
