Obituary: Donald Beardmore, 84, Of Vernon And Windsor

"He served in the Army National Guard and worked for the New Haven Railroad."

WINDSOR, CT - Donald C. Beardmore, 84, of Vernon and Windsor passed away Saturday, December 15, 2018. Born December 14, 1934 in New Haven, CT, son of the late Donald E. Beardmore and Dorothy (Hanke) Beardmore.

He is survived by a daughter, Dorothy B. Pinard and her husband Mark of Windsor; a son John Beardmore and his wife Gretchen. He also leaves three grandchildren, Jerry Pinard and his wife Marlyn of Burlington, Keri Pinard of Windsor, Daniel Pinard and his fiancé Claudia Flores of Windsor Locks; and one great granddaughter Elizabeth Marie Pinard.

He served in the Army National Guard and worked for the New Haven Railroad. Then worked for Caron Pipe Jacking before owning and operating New England Pipe Jacking Corp. for several years before his retirement.

His family would like to thank all the staff at Fox Hill Center in Vernon for the care and compassion they showed while Donald was there over the past year. His family will receive friends Thursday, December 20, 2018 from 5-7 PM at Carmon Poquonock Funeral Home, 1816 Poquonock Ave., Poquonock section of Windsor, followed by a memorial service at 7:00 PM.
