For Doe, friends came easy, great memories and laughter, even easier. Her great passions in life were her family, traveling, summers on Martha’s Vineyard, her dogs-- who she’d spoil absolutely rotten, the Boston Red Sox, and last but surely not least, chocolate peanut butter ice cream.

Doris is survived by her sons, Edward Lyons and his wife Rena of Windsor, Timothy Lyons of West Hartford and Peter Lyons of Windsor; her grandchildren, Richard, Rebecca, Jaclyn and Jameson and her great-grandchildren, Brittany, Thomas, Alexandra and Candace. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by two brothers and four sisters.
