Order Wreaths Across America for Windsor by December 2

There’s still time (by Saturday, Dec. 2) to order a "Wreaths Across America" wreath to be placed at a ceremony in the Windsor Veterans Memorial Cemetery in the Windsor Veterans Memorial Cemetery on East Street on December 16th at 12 noon. Carmon Community Funeral Homes of Windsor, Windsor’s American Legion Post #59, and Windsor resident Lucy Goicoechea-Hernández, a founder of the Hispanic-American Veterans of Connecticut, Inc. (HAVOCT), will host the event.

People who want a wreath placed for a specific veteran who is buried in the cemetery should indicate the veteran’s name when payment is submitted. To order a $15 wreath to be placed during that ceremony – all payments must be received by Saturday, Dec. 2. Checks should be made out to: Carmon Community Funeral Homes, and either brought to Carmon Funeral Home at 807 Bloomfield Ave. in Windsor, or mailed to: Carmon Community Funeral Homes, Attn: Wreaths Across America, P.O. Box 6, Windsor CT 06095.
