Plans For Windsor Hotel Move Forward After Delay

A developer constructing a $14-million extended-stay hotel in Windsor says the project is moving forward.

WINDSOR, CT — A developer's plans to construct a $14-million extended-stay hotel on Day Hill Road in Windsor are moving forward following a delay, according to The Hartford Business Journal. The Groton-based developer said he's hoping that the hospitality market will rebound once construction is finished.

The developer will appear before the town's planning board Wednesday night seeking approval for a 120-room hotel, up from a 106-room plan that was approved pre-pandemic. The new plans call for an 88,000-square-foot building.

Developers hope to start construction later this year.
