Plans In The Works For $36 Million Windsor Research Hub: Report

A Japanese-owned company has plans to build a massive R&D hub at a Windsor business park.

WINDSOR, CT — A large undeveloped parcel in Great Pond business park may become home to a 50,000-square-foot, $36 million research and development hub, according to The Hartford Business Journal. Early-stage biology research company New England Cell Therapeutics is behind the project.

The company was formed in 2019 and is owned by Japan-based Nipron Group. The company makes pharmaceutical packaging and other products.
