Pro Sports Franchise May Come To Windsor
A group of developers is in talks to bring a pro sports team to Windsor.

WINDSOR, CT - A group of investors is looking to attract a New England-branded women's soccer franchise to Windsor, according to The Hartford Business Journal. The team would be part of the National Women's Soccer League, which is expected to expand its roster of teams next month.
The group of investors includes the developer of FastPitch Nation Park, Mohegan Sun, and the original developer chosen for Hartford's Dillon Stadium, T.J. Clynch.
The team would play at the recently opened FastPitch Nation at 1001 Hill Road, according to The Hartford Business-Journal.

The team's stadium would be a minimum of 7,000 seats at 120-acre mixed-use property. FastPitch Nation Park is the largest softball complex in the Northeast and includes 11 fields.
The facility is already expected to attract 35,000 visitors annually.
