The polls have closed and the votes have been counted in Windsor's municipal election.

WINDSOR, CT — The polls have closed and the votes have been counted in Windsor’s municipal election. There are numerous positions up for grabs including the town council and Board of Education.

Here are the full vote totals:

Democratic Party Donald Trinks 3,916 14.23%
Democratic Party Joe McAuliffe 3,594 13.06%
Democratic Party Nuchette Black-Burke 3,335 12.12%
Democratic Party Lisa Bress 3,563 12.94%
Democratic Party James Dobler 3,262 11.85%
Republican Party Michael D. Tustin 1,930 7.01%
Republican Party Lenworth Walker 1,757 6.38%
Republican Party Donald A. Jepsen 2,113 7.68%

WINDSOR, CT — Voters will head to the polls Tuesday, Nov. 5 to vote in Windsor’s municipal election. There are numerous positions up for grabs including town council, boards of education, finance, zoning, and police commission.

Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Voters who are in line before 8 p.m. will be able to vote even after the deadline passes. You can find your poll location at the Secretary of the State website by inputting your information.

The Town Council candidates are: Democrats, Donald Trinks, Joe McAuliffe, Nuchette Black-Burke, Lisa Bress, and James Dobler. Republican candidates are: Michael D. Tustin, Lenworth Walker, Donald A. Jepsen, Jim G. Govoni, and Kenny M. Wilkos. Voters will choose any five candidates.

Board of Education candidates include: Democrats, Charlotte Ricketts, Maryam Khan, Leonard Lockhart, Ayana Taylor, David Furie, and Republicans, Paul J. Panos, L. James Ristas, Ronald C. Eleveld, Brian D. Bosch, and Jeremy C. Halek. Voters will choose any five candidates.

Candidates for Constable include: Democrats, Mary Armstrong and Lawrence Jaggon, and Republicans, David A. Gillette and Charles Jackson. You’ll vote for any two candidates.

Connecticut offers Election Day registration, but those who arrive need to be registered by 8 p.m. in order to vote. Unlike previously registered voters standing in line before 8 p.m. to register won't guarantee the ability to vote.

Absentee ballots are also available for those who won't be in town all of election day or for a multitude of other reasons. Voters can also register online prior to the election.
