Windsor Commissioner In Texting Controversy Won't Resign: Report
Donna Grossman has said she won't resign from the Commission on Aging and Persons with Disabilities.

WINDSOR, CT - Donna Grossman has said she won't resign from the Commission on Aging and Persons with Disabilities following accusations that she sent an inappropriate text, the Journal-Inquirer reported. A photo was taken of Grossman writing a text during a state senator's speech at the Capitol in which she typed: “If I had a gun, I’d blow away (Sen. Robert) Sampson and a large group of the NRA.”
Grossman was escorted off the premises by security following the incident. She told the Journal-Inquirer that she didn't mean the statement literally and was sending a private text in which she was venting.
Connecticut Republican Party Chairman J.R. Romano demanded Grossman's resignation.

"Donna Grossman's threat was specific and deadly in nature," Romano said in a statement."Anything less (than resigning) would be a chilling example to show the people of Connecticut about the seriousness of politically motivated violence."
