Windsor Company Completes $1.5 Billion Acquisition Deal

A local company has made a major move in the financial technology sector.

WINDSOR, CT - Local company SS&C Technologies Holdings Inc. has acquired a global banking data-sharing platform for $1.5 billion, according to a Hartford Business Journal report. SS&C reached the agreement to acquire New York-based Intralinks Holdings Inc. in September for $1 billion in cash plus $500 million in stocks.

Intralinks works with mergers and acquisitions, capital raising and investor reporting using its data-sharing platforms to support private equity and hedge fund professionals.
