WINDSOR, CT — New bakery Sweet Tooth is now in its second week of business at a location on Palisado Avenue. The business is run by Nyeemah Hightower, 22, who told the Hartford Courant that she learned to bake as a child helping her grandmother bake pies.

Sweet Tooth is in Bart's Drive-In and Beanery, a business owner by Windsor Mayor Donald Trinks. Hightower asked Trinks two months ago if would be willing to sell some of her baked goods.

He told her: "Instead of me selling your stuff how about you open a store?" according to The Courant. The two struck an agreement that the young entrepreneur could start the business rent free.
