Windsor Man Arrested In Ralph Lauren Store Thefts: New Canaan PD

New Canaan police arrested the first suspect in the case last week. They expect to obtain a warrant soon to arrest a third suspect.

NEW CANAAN, CT — A second suspect has been arrested by New Canaan police in connection with the October grab-and-run thefts from the Ralph Lauren store on Elm Street in New Canaan, authorities announced.

Windsor resident Jahliil Parrott, 22, was arrested on Monday after members of the New Canaan Police Department went to a correctional facility in Nassau County, NY to pick him up. Parrott was being held at the New York jail on separate robbery charges, according to New Canaan police.

Parrott, Aysia D. Ryan, who was arrested by New Canaan police last week, and a third suspect are accused of stealing about $90,000 worth of merchandise from the New Canaan store and several others in Massachusetts, New York, New Hampshire and other states. Ryan, 20, also is from Windsor.

From the New Canaan store alone, the three are accused of stealing more than $11,000 worth of merchandise during multiple larcenies in October.

The three were part of an Organized Retail Theft Crime Ring, according to New Canaan police.

Authorities know the identity of the third suspect, another woman, and expect to obtain a warrant for her arrest.
