Windsor Property Prices Increase In Revaluation

A property revaluation has found that values are up across the board.

WINDSOR, CT - A property revaluation has found that property prices in Windsor have increased by almost 5 percent. A town summary of the property price changes found the following:

  • 1, 2 & 3 family residential property assessed values increased by 4.8%
  • Condominium assessed values increased by 11.3%
  • Apartments assessed values increased by 9.0%
  • Commercial/Industrial property assessed values increased 9.0%

The Assessor’s Office recently mailed out the real estate ‘Notice of Assessment Change’ to all property owners and a searchable database is now available on the town’s website.

The database allows individuals to look up specific properties to see the new valuations as well as the previous valuations.

Property owners will have a chance to schedule an informal hearing in December. A town statement noted that appointments are planned for weekdays from December 3 – December 28.

Property owners will also be able to make a formal appeal to the Board of Assessment Appeals.
