Windsor, PSA/Aerospace Set to Open Softball Tournaments

WINDSOR, CT — Looking for its first-ever state championship, the Windsor High School softball team begins its quest for a Class L title with some extra rest.

The fifth-seeded Warriors have drawn a first-round bye, as pairings were announced Friday morning. Windsor will host a second-round game against the Naugatuck/Bristol Central winner Wednesday.

The co-op of PSA Civic Leadership and the Aerospace Academy of Engineering has qualified for Class S competition, seeded No. 27, and will travel to No. 6 Coginchaug Tuesday.

Top seeds in the four divisions are Southington (LL), Masuk (L), Northwestern Regional (M) and Stafford (S).
