Windsor Schools Budget Slated To Increase

A proposed budget for Windsor schools was released.

WINDSOR, CT - The schools proposed budget will increase spending by 2.67 percent, or $1.85 million, according to the Hartford Courant. The budget is subject to approval by the Town Council and Board of Education.

Superintendent Craig Cooke said that with just fixed costs, the budget increase would be 2.2 percent.

Cost increases would include maintaining a high school assistant principal position added this year, adding a math and reading teacher at Sage Park Middle School, and other positions.
