Windsor Schools Released Budget Schedule

Interim Superintendent Dr. Craig Cooke will present his proposal for Windsor's 2014-15 education budget on Tues., Jan. 16, the district announced Dec. 20.

According to the school district, Cooke's presentation will be followed by a series of public meetings and public forums.

"We hope that residents come to these scheduled events to express their opinions and learn about the budget development process," said Cooke.

Residents will have the opportunity to share their thoughts on education funding during four board of education finance committee in addition to three public forums scheduled by the district during the months of January and February.

The first public forum will begin immediately following Cooke's presentation.

While the board of education is scheduled to adopt a budget on Feb. 12, the town council must approve the amount requested by the school board.

Tuesday, January 14 at 6:30 p.m.
