A fifth person was located unharmed, but is not believed to be the suspect at this time. The assailant is believed to be among the dead, Cherniack said.

"Although preliminary at this time, information leads police to believe this was a domestic related murder-suicide," Cherniack said.
Windsor Locks detectives are working at the home, and the State of Connecticut court inspector's office has been notified. Once a warrant for the residence is obtained, the State Police Major Crime Squad will be called in to assist with the investigation, according to Cherniack.
