Reader Question: Â Is it true that there is a monthly quota for tickets issued?
Response from Lt. J. Paul Vance: Connecticut Troopers absolutely do not have a quota for issuing tickets.  They are all expected to monitor traffic during their assigned patrol shifts and take the appropriate enforcement action, when they observe a violation.  Each Trooper is sworn to uphold Connecticut Law’s and their first priority is public safety.
