Bomb Threat Reported At Auto Parts Store In Windsor Locks

WINDSOR LOCKS, CT — A bomb threat was received by telephone at the Auto Zone store in Dexter Plaza Sunday, prompting evacuation of the area as an investigation unfolded.

Around 2 p.m., Windsor Locks police officers responded to the threat and immediately evacuated the area. A bomb-sniffing dog from the Hartford Police Department did not yield any suspicious packages or explosive chemicals, police said.

The case remains under investigation.
