Bradley Airport Reports Nosedive In Passenger Traffic

Bradley International Airport reports that traffic has plummeted during the spread of the coronavirus.

WINDSOR LOCKS, CT — Bradley International Airport reported that traffic on Wednesday was down about 70 percent compared to the same time last year, according to The Hartford Business Journal. Canceled and suspended flights are the norm since the COVID-19 virus outbreak.

Aer Lingus and Air Canada have announced plans to suspend all flights with other airlines announcing varying levels of reduction. United has suspended flights to Houston until further notice, The Hartford Business Journal reported.

However, airport officials said they have yet to hear from the government regarding a full closure.
