Campus Milestones By Windsor Locks, East Windsor College Students

WINDSOR LOCKS/EAST WINDSOR, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

Central Connecticut State University, New Britain CT

• Fifteen students from Windsor Locks and four from East Windsor were named to the Dean's List at CCSU for the 2021 spring semester. From Windsor Locks: Zachary Allen, Elijah Blanco, Eric Bursztyn, Michael Carrasquillo, Michelle Carrasquillo, James Contacos, Camryn Davis, Firas Ismael, Chad Matheus, Mark Matheus, Taylor McLean, Kaylie Morris, Darshilkumar Patel, Cynthia Terra and Evan Wenzel. From East Windsor: Angelica Bouchelle, Kamil Kluk, Iwona Kluk and Emily Pavano.

Southern New Hampshire University, Manchester NH

• George Martin, Alexander Ainzuain and Christopher White, all of East Windsor, and Erin Martin of Windsor Locks were named to the winter 2021 President's List. The winter term runs from January to May. Full-time students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.700 and above are named to the President's List. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits; undergraduate day students must earn 12 credits in fall or spring semester, and online students must earn 12 credits in either EW1 & EW2, EW3 & EW4, or EW5 & EW6.
• Vanessa Carpentier and Victoria Leslie, both of Windsor Locks, were named to the winter 2021 Dean's List. Full-time students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.500 to 3.699 are named to the Dean's List. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits; undergraduate day students must earn 12 credits in fall or spring semester, and online students must earn 12 credits in either EW1 & EW2, EW3 & EW4, or EW5 & EW6.

University of Nebraska, Lincoln NE

• Ashley Novak of Broad Brook has been named to the Deans' List at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for the spring semester of the 2020-21 academic year. Novak, a sophomore majoring in anthropology, was named to the Dean's List for the College of Arts and Sciences.

University of New Hampshire, Durham NH

• Shannon Dube of East Windsor has been named to the Dean's List at the University of New Hampshire for earning Highest Honors for the spring 2021 semester. Dube is majoring in Nursing. Highest honors are awarded to students who earn a semester grade point average of 3.85 or better out of a possible 4.0.
