Children's Book Discussion at the Warehouse Point Library

The CT Humanities Book Voyager Program, Tales from around the World with a Twist!

(CT Humanities)

Tales from around the World – with a Twist! While time-honored folktales help us learn about the world around us, sometimes they just clamor for a twist. Join the Warehouse Point Library, 107 Main Street, East Windsor for this virtual discussion with storyteller Carolyn Stearns to see if you can recognize which parts of the stories are original and which are the twists! The CT Humanities Book Voyager Program will feature the following book discussion titles each Tuesday in November from 4:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m.: Interrupting Chicken by David Ezra Stein on November 3, Goldy Luck and the Three Pandas by Natasha Yim on November 10; Little Red and the Very Hungry Lion by Alex T. Smith on November 17 and The Ninjabread Man by Katrina Charman on November 24. This program is for children in grade one through grade three. Participants will receive activity packages and a copy of each book to keep. Registration is limited. Visit https://www.warehousepointlibrary.info to register or call 860-623-5482 for more information.
