East Windsor Police Report Numerous Bear Sightings
A number of bear sightings have been reported in the South Main Street area.

EAST WINDSOR, CT - The East Windsor Police Department has issued a statement concerning a number of bear sightings in the Route 5 area.
On its Facebook page, the department posted:
"We have received numerous reports of bear sightings in the residential area of South Main Street (Route 5) between #88 - #140. The bear has been getting into garbage and into bird feeders.

We recommend securing your garbage and removing bird feeders."
Anyone who sees a bear is asked to report it to the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection. The page also contains tips about what to do if a bear is spotted.
