Hazardous Weather Outlook Issued for Windsor Locks, East Windsor
The spring weather we saw last week disappears for a while and there are several upcoming chances for rain.

Technically, it’s still winter and at least for Monday it will still feel like that. The days of 60 and 70 degree temperatures and bright sunshine of this past week and weekend are a thing of the past for now.
The National Weather Service has issued a “Hazardous Weather Outlook” for Hartford and Tolland counties for a chance that the rain may to turn to sleet or freezing rain here and impact Monday’s evening commute. The weather service cautions roads may be slippery here during the commute home.
Temperatures cool down significantly this week and there are several chances of rain this week.
Here is the detailed weather forecast via the National Weather Service:
- Monday: Rain and fog and up to a quarter of an inch of rain is expected with temps falling to around 40 degree.
- Monday night: More rain and fog with winds up to 20 mph and a half inch of rain is likely.
- Tuesday: Rain ends around 10 a.m., more fog and temps rebound to around 50 degrees.
- Wednesday: Chance of rain early and then sunny in the afternoon with temps in the low 50s.
- Thursday: Best day of the week, sunshine and near 60 degrees.
- Friday: Sun and low 50s.
