WINDSOR LOCKS, CT — The latest trip to a Hidden Gem in Hartford and Tolland counties takes us to Windsor Locks, and an ice cream stand nestled in a nook off Old County Road in the shadow of Bradley International Airport.
Welcome to Tail Winds. Located at 60 Old County Road in Windsor Locks, the ice cream stand is open seven days a week during the season and features both soft serve and hard ice cream. It's ben around for a dozen years.
Specialty sundaes are also on the menu.
