Man Tried To Board Plane With Brass Knuckles: Report

A man was arrested at Bradley International Airport for attempting to bring brass knuckles through security.

WINDSOR LOCKS, CT — A New Haven man has been arrested on charges that he attempted to bring brass knuckles onto a flight leaving Bradley International Airport, according to WTNH. Matthew Smith, 32, was charged with carrying a dangerous weapon and tampering with airport equipment.

Smith was screened at a TSA checkpoint Wednesday evening when officers detected the weapon. He was released on $500 bond and will appear in court Aug. 29, according to WTNH.
