Man Who Jumped From Bridge In Windsor Locks Not Yet Found

Rescue personnel searched for the man in the Connecticut River after his car was found abandoned on I-91 Sunday afternoon.

WINDSOR LOCKS, CT — A man who was reported to have jumped off the Dexter Coffin Bridge Sunday has yet to be found, despite efforts by numerous emergency responders.

According to state police, a vehicle was found abandoned in the right travel lane of Interstate 91 around 2:15 p.m. Multiple boats were deployed into the Connecticut River, but police, fire and other rescue personnel were unable to locate the man.

The man's identity has yet to be released by state police.
