Milestones Achieved By Windsor Locks, East Windsor Students

WINDSOR LOCKS/EAST WINDSOR, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

Clarkson University, Potsdam NY

• Sean Michael Donahue of Windsor Locks, a freshman majoring in business studies, was named to the Dean's List for the fall 2020 semester at Clarkson University. Dean's List students must achieve a minimum 3.25 grade-point average and also carry at least 14 credit hours.

Curry College, Milton MA

• Curry College is proud to announce that Erin Cullinane of Broad Brook has been named to the Dean's List for the fall 2020 semester. Cullinane, majoring in Biology, is among the roughly 1,000 students that have received the distinction, a marker of academic excellence and high achievement. To earn a place on the list, full-time undergraduate students - those who carry 12 or more graded credits per semester - must earn a 3.3 grade-point-average (GPA) or higher.

Dean College, Franklin MA

• Dean College is pleased to announce that Luke Palmer of Windsor Locks has earned a place on the President's List for the fall 2020 semester. Students named to the President's List have demonstrated a serious commitment to their studies while at Dean College.

Lasell University, Newton MA

• Alexys Suojanen of Windsor Locks was named to the fall 2020 Dean's List at Lasell University. Students who receive this honor have completed at least 12 credits as a full-time student and have achieved a semester GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Roger Williams University, Bristol RI

• Timur Couture, of Broad Brook, has been named to the fall 2020 Dean's List at Roger Williams University. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a grade point average of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean's List that semester.

Springfield College, Springfield MA

• Cole Crynock, Gabrielle LeBeau, Hayley Mansfield and Jillian Michaud, all of East Windsor, and Megan Hacia and William Evans, both of Windsor Locks, were named to the dean's list for academic excellence for the 2020 fall semester. Students making the dean's list must have a minimum semester grade average of 3.500 for the term.

Tunxis Community College, Farmington CT

• Elvis Hysaj of East Windsor and Cameryn Wilson of Windsor Locks were named to the dean's list for the fall 2020 semester. Students enrolled in a certificate or degree program who have earned a semester grade point average of 3.4 or higher and have successfully completed 12 or more credits, or have earned 12 credits cumulatively over multiple semesters, are eligible for this academic honor.
