Narcotics Found By Police Canine During East Windsor Traffic Stop
The dog alerted his handler to the presence of narcotics inside a vehicle early Saturday morning.

EAST WINDSOR, CT — An early morning traffic stop on Newberry Road Saturday led to use of a police canine, which confirmed suspicion that the vehicle occupants were in possession of narcotics.
Around 2:15 a.m., officer Adam Mitchell stopped the vehicle, and developed suspicion that the occupants were in possession of narcotics. He deployed canine officer Mylo, who sniffed the exterior of the vehicle and alerted Mitchell to the presence of narcotics inside, police said.
A search of the vehicle yielded more than 28 grams of cocaine, more than seven grams of heroin and more than two dozen other items of drug paraphernalia, police said.

Anna Berger, 40, and Matthew Wolf, 45, both from Sheffield, Vermont, were each charged with possession of narcotics with intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia. Berger was also cited for operating an unregistered motor vehicle and misuse of plates, police said.
