Police: Windsor Locks Man Sexually Assaulted Juvenile, Twice

A press release from the Windsor Locks Police Department:

On Jan. 8 at 3 p.m., police received a report of two sexual assaults that had occurred in November and December of 2013 involving a juvenile. 

Police identified the suspect as Mario Lopez, Jr., 20, of Tracy Circle, Windsor Locks and obtained an arrest warrant to charge him with two counts of second-degree sexual assault and two counts of risk of injury to a minor. 

On Thursday at 5:15 p.m., Lopez was taken into custody at his residence without incident. He was held on a $150,000 surety bond and will appear in Enfield Superior Court today.
