WINDSOR LOCKS, CT — A white miniature poodle reported to have been taken by a man in Windsor Locks last week has been reunited with her family.
Karen Heck, a volunteer for the CT Dog Gone Recovery Volunteer Network, said Ava was spotted Sunday night, and was happily taken back home by her owner.
"We believe the same person who picked her up, dumped her back off," read a post on the rescue organization's Facebook page. "Her owner was out looking for her when a call came in with a sighting. We are so happy she’s back home where she belongs!"
