WINDSOR LOCKS, CT — A small poodle reportedly taken from Windsor Locks Wednesday is the subject of a search by the canine's owner and a poodle rescue organization.

Ava, a 10 pound female, was outside in the Pleasant/Olive and North Main Street area near the Route 159 line when she was scooped up by a man. He is described as a tall white man, wearing sunglasses and jeans and driving a dark silver Jeep.

Anyone with information that will be helpful in her recovery is asked to her owner, Melissa, at 860-922-1338.
