Rep. Scott Storms Hosts Worn American Flag Collection Drive

There will be three available locations where residents can drop off worn American flags for proper ceremonial disposal.

From CT House Republicans: With the summer season and patriotic holidays such as Memorial Day, Flag Day and the Fourth of July on the horizon, it is the perfect time to properly retire your worn, faded and tattered American flags as you prepare to put on fresh new displays of the Stars and Stripes.

State Representative Scott Storms (R-60) is providing three locations that residents can drop off their worn American flags for proper ceremonial disposal according to the U.S. Flag Code. Drop-off locations will receive flags from Monday, May 29th until Tuesday, June 13th.

  • Windsor Locks Town Hall – 50 Church Street, Windsor Locks
  • Windsor Locks Senior Center – 41 Oak Street, Windsor Locks
  • Get Baked Bakery – 25 Central Street, Windsor
