Second Annual Stafford/Somers/East Windsor High School Football Golf Tournament Fundraiser
Join the Scramble at Skungamaug River Golf Club in Coventry on June 24 and/or contribute as a sponsor.

This tournament invites local golf enthusiasts to help the Stafford/Somers/East Windsor Bulldogs football team fund the cost of bus transportation to and from practice at Stafford High School in the fall, among other team expenses. "We are treated great by our schools in Stafford, Somers, and East Windsor, but we don't have a football budget like many of the towns we compete against," says Bulldogs coach Brian Mazzone.
Two to four-player teams will participate in a scramble format in which each player hits a tee shot on each hole, but then everyone plays from the spot of the best shot. The cost is $100 per player which includes green fees, cart, and lunch at the Skungamaug River Golf Club, 104 Folly Lane, Coventry. Registration is at 7:00am on Saturday June 24 with a shotgun start at 8:00am. Deadline for sign-ups is June 20.
Interested teams/players may contact Bulldogs coach Bob Grant at (860)202-7479. Make checks out to Stafford Boosters and send with names of teammates and contact phone number to Bob Grant, 14 West End St, Stafford Springs, CT 06076. (See photo below).
