Site Changed For Stafford/Somers/East Windsor Football Playoff

Bad field conditions at the home site has prompted officials to change the location of Tuesday's quarterfinal game.

STAFFORD, CT — Tuesday night's CIAC Class S football game between the Stafford/Somers/East Windsor co-op and Cromwell/Portland has been moved to Enfield High School. Game time remains at 6:30 p.m.

The grass field at Stafford High School is in bad shape, which is not expected to improve due to rain forecast for Monday night. Enfield High School has an artificial turf playing surface.

Coach Brian Mazzone said, "The recent rash of bad weather and playing on it last Wednesday really left the field saturated and muddy. It wasn’t favorable for either team."
